I wonder if I can find the headquarters of the Flat Earth Society on my GPS.

NO NO NO,Columbus knew, as all sailors knew in 1492, that the world was round. He also “knew” that it was much smaller than it actually is—Comparatively, like a volleyball to a beach ball—.(If anyone cares, I can explain why sailors knew the world was round.)Crews were worried that they would run out of food and water going west to Asia. Columbus ran into land exactly where he predicted he would find it west of Europe. He died knowing he had reached Asia.

If Colombus had GPS, he’d have known that China wasn’t where he thought it was.
