I need to mention to my youngest boy that I’d like some nice photos of the trees in IL when he sees a good mix of colors (He’s a Libra like me and as a surveyor gets outside sometimes at all hours). His phone does not have the best res, but he will send (he had also sent me nice wild bird feathers).
I can sit at my desk at work and look out the front door. The mountains are right across the highway. Clear totally clear blue sky today, the fall colors really shine out.

Like my wife’s reaction on first seeing the Pleiades through binoculars: “I don’t see where you WOW!!” Can’t express it any better.
