a sad statement on todays marriages, and yes I am divorced and remarried but I do envy my friends that were smart enough to get it right the first time…..sigh. Also I do realize that to envy is a sin. lol
No, I wouldn’t call it smug. I was surprised as a youngster to discover I was the only one in my circle of friends to still live with both my parents (they were married until my father died) – I had thought it was normal and that everyone did, I’m enjoying this story arc.
