I do NOT see the whole Republican Party (GOP) as responsible, however, the extremist, radical, “TEA party”, especially those with a bent toward theocracy, in defiance of the Constitution (they falsely claim to support) ARE depicted in the ’toon.
Republicans/Fox “news” viewers have expanded their hatred of Obama to include the country that elected and re-elected him.-“We’re really very energized today, we’re very strong. This is about the happiest I’ve seen members in a long time because we see that we’re starting to win this dialogue on a national level.” Michelle Bachmann on the first day of the government shutdown.-Next up: refusing to pay bills that Congress has funded, thereby damaging the credit rating of the United States. -When the debt ceiling is reached and not raised, Patriotic Republicans will explain on Fox “news” why they had to do it, for the good of the country, of course. Fox “news” viewers will all believe them.
