It wasn’t the teas party that trashed the parks, it was the nasty, defecation and other rubbish left by the Occuperies that cost local governments so much to repair.
Forgot to mention.. I know, I volunteered to clean up after both demonstrations, After tea party, we left in two hours. After Occupiers, three days and rhe rest left to the city workers.
Terry Russel, in “On The Loose” has a very good bit on a deer shaking it’s antlers while standing on the silt filled Glen Canyon behind the dam.
Sadly, due to human encroachment on habitat, and those idiotic protected burros, desert bighorn are in serious trouble in much of their range. Desert tortoise are even under greater threat, in part due to solar projects (not as green as assumed), private development of desert water aquifers to supply L.Al, but mostly idiots in ATVs and SUVs.
