    Actually, I’m a believer in the old American maxim that anyone can become President if he tries (with ability to handle the job not a rare gift). But Obama has been shown to be limited by his abilities; and especially by his rarified ideology. It seems to be the malady of all politics: the special interest slant is both the electable quality and the quality that most causes dissension. It looks like a good politician would be one who’s quality of ethics allows him to be virtuous and objective; an ability to transcend the limitations of politics.

    No. But then politics and the American government is only a system for representing power strategies; not a vehicle for instituting what is ethical and “right.” I think the Founding Fathers wanted it that way.
