The tea-party was a grass-roots movement for about two months, then it was almost immediately co-opted by big-money groups and weird Taliban-style religious nuts. The real tea party activists have long vanished, their $100 donations swamped by the $100s of millions given by the Koch brothers. Why would real Americans want to block a free market for private health insurance, and kill jobs with sequesters? It makes no sense.
