The nation has been choking on the ever rising cost of healthcare for well over a decade.

Deficits HAVE been CUT, but don’t tell the rancid element in the TEA. As long as people invest in government savings bonds btw, the “debt” will actually continue to increase. BTW, the vast majority of that debt is owed to U.S. interests, not China or overseas, but don’t tell that to Cruz, Boehner, McConnell or the other myth makers either.

Counting DaSharkie I’d say quite a few conservative voters.

“I mean President Obama promised to cut the deficit in half when he was a candidate…”

Its funny you should mention that because every Republican in the house ran with the same idea in mind. Oh! And don’t forget jobs (cue Tigger and some half wit claiming that the house passed some jobs bills, but can’t prove it by naming one bill that the house passed)! And so far they have voted to defund/repeal Obamacare as their priority. How about going hard on the guys that you voted for just as much as you’re going hard on the president?

For Republicans/Fox “news” viewers, health care for Americans is not an issue:-D: Do you think the American health care system should be improved?-R: Well, all I know is that I hate Obamacare, and Obama.-D: Yeah, but do you believe more Americans should get health care coverage?-R: My health care coverage is just fine. Besides, I already answered. And, you know, the American health care system is the greatest in the world. And anyway, I would never support anything Obama proposes, no matter what it is.-D: Yeah, but what about the health care system?-R: Did you know that Obama is a socialist, communist fascist who was born in Kenya and is a muslim? And he’s coming to TAKE YOUR GUNS!

Repealing Obamacare will COST $100 billion, according to the CBO. How do the Republicans plan to pay for that? (That was a joke, of course, Republicans never pay for anything.)

Part of the reason for the increase in health care costs is the overuse of emergency rooms. Primary care physicians have stopped doing urgent care in many cases, so the only option is the emergency room, which costs much more. Plus, if you have no insurance at all, it is the ER or nothing.
