    … as usual … Bennett is lockstep socialist with Obama … and calls ANYONE that disagrees with Obama mentally ill …

    According to Bennett I should have been put away YEARS ago!

    Isn’t this how the Soviet Union and Nazis dealt with dissidents and people who disagreed with the government leadership…?

    I’m not a resident of the US….just how does “Obamacare” compare to the UK’s National Health Service?

    If you vote to repeal something 41 times KNOWING it will not work, that’s sign #1. If you tie that vote to the shutdown of the government you work for, that’s sign #2. If you threaten to take down the whole world economy and civilization just to get your wish, that’s sign #3. Now you have proven to be irresponsible, irrational, illogical and dangerous. Now you SHOULD be locked up before you can do any damage.

    It’s not about whether you agree or disagree, it’s about the methods you are willing to use to show your displeasure. Right wing domestic terrorism is growing in the U.S., who is to say they haven’t infiltrated Congress? Any other time in U.S. history the TEA-party would’ve been called Anarchists, hell bend on bringing down the nation. Today we sadly have to add the tag “American Taleban” as well…

    @pcolli – the ACA (Affordable Care Act) AKA Obamacare is nothing like the NHS

    the new, not-so-universal healthcare system in the US will be split between increasing existing govt programs (medicare, medicaid for elderly and poor) and new regulations for private insurance. the least popular aspect of ACA is the mandate for everyone not in medicare/medicaid to buy into private insurance or face a fine. also unpopular, more poor people will be covered by a modest increase in govt programs, plus subsidies given for the poor to buy private insurance

    so, it’s complicated…

    You understand this country better than the first 3 commentors.

    It takes all the worst features of the NHS and privatizes it under government supervision of a huge brand new bureaucracy while leaving the medical service provider sector out of the loop except for raising taxes on it.

    Well, when there are just two people keeping that repeal from happening (eg., Harry Reid and Barack Obama) you are dealing with a dictatorship rather than a democracy….

    This is total nonsense and if you haven’t correct information you would do well to hold your peace. It is not at all like the NHS, but more like the Swiss system (except for the fact that the Swiss system manages to work with private insurance better due to the basic governmental regulation they have which the Republicans wouldn’t allow for us).

    Morty might be referencing Einstein’s famous comment on expecting a different outcome, which puts Boehner in WHAT category? Okay, he can share a cell with all those rebelling “TEA party” types!

    The Labor Unions, and 53% of Americans want Obamacare repealed

    @Tigger

    53% disapprove of how Obama is handling health care is not the same of 53% want a repeal.
    I do not like Obamacare as it is not a universal program so that puts me in the 53% but by no means do I advocate repeal.

    Don’t these guys ever get tired of portraying anyone on the right as nutty? Childish, and just proves how void they are of substance.
