Jack: my brother had a ‘70 Pontiac Trans Am, much faster than the Camaro, and in a straight line, faster than my small, nimble, Lotus, but in the tricky, windy, parts of the world, i could out maneuver him every time! Raw power (hmm, like a machine gun) can be “fun”, but it’s finesse and skill that will win every time in the end!

Parker: Thanks, and I also note it’s the “angry God” folks who also remain the most bent out of shape, which, I HIGHLY recommend a great book a minister friend (he has both and Episcopal AND a Presbyterian congregation!) loaned me: it’s “Love Wins” by Rob Bell, an evangelical minister who tells it “like it is” (or should be) for Christians who truly know and believe the “bible God”, and Jesus!

While I remain a Buddhist, open to accepting and respecting other people’s religions and points of view, if they don’t HARM others, I don’t have to agree with everything they believe!

The simple fact that Bell points out that “God” forgives, and ACCEPTS ALL, is something so many hypocritical “Christians” refuse to accept, convinced “only they” will be “winners” in the end. A really “good book”!!
