The place was actually a bingo hall, where my husband and I were working. Part of the pay was free food from the snack bar. I could clearly see in the freezer that veggie burgers were the only burgers they had. The reason I ordered again was because I initially thought that first, bad-tasting one was a fluke.

I suppose next he’ll run into a deep, stormy character known as Precipitous, who hails from (pun intended) Troy, also in New York State.
Then there’s Precipitous’, not-so-sweet smelling sister, Odiferous who comes from Sparta (again, you know where).
