Dumbest idea since March of aught-three.If Syria’s neighbors are willing to provide the ground troops to police the peace in Syria, we absolutely should back them up with air support… IMO.The international community should be intervening to make sure chemical weapons are taken out of the equation one way or another. Obama hasn’t been at his best as far as convincing our allies to at least give the appearance of readiness to intervene. I wasn’t supporting the “go it alone” path that Obama was on. I was encouraged when he decided to throw that ball to Congress, while waiting for more developments at the UN.Lo & behold: Russia & Syria just might have blinked:Obama Calls Russia Offer on Syria Possible ‘Breakthrough’I encourage you to use Google to compare Obama’s rhetoric to GWB’s in 2003.
