If we get lost, I’ll find a local lady, Alaska where we are, and I’ll get my Berings Strait. Juneau what I mean?

They could travel it a lot easier if they could devise a wheel and cart device…….they just need to get some insight on how to do the bearings…………maybe when the Northern Lights turn on they’ll see what to do……………….

There doesn’t seem to be any significant archaeological evidence that there were migrations by land. Several boat crossings seem to be the mode of travel to the Americas.

dzw3030 and Fuzzy Thinker (I): Considering the land bridge was mainly ice, sustained migration would need to be along the coast where there would be food. Considering the Ice Age locked up most of the fresh water, its melting would flood the land route and leave it a few hundred feet below the surface, making archeological research difficult. Travel, if not trade routes and migration, would we quite within neolithic technology. Because of the lack of metals at all, Polynesians were neolithic, yet they were using celestial navigation when Europeans were afraid to leave the sight of land.

Don’t loose site of the three trees and mountain top….be sure to come back before the trees have multiplied and are lost in the forest…..although the three will probably be the tallest, with the most branches………..use the stars to help track and find them again……………

Also keep an eye out for better spear tip designs you might find embedded in old carcases along the way…….. save them all……They may become collectors items someday…..

Thanks for your comment Call it what you will. I don’t hate her, I was entertained by her. Palin was the one to use those tactics, in my opinion, often pushed by cynical speech-writers. Several of my wacky aunts are just like her, and I could never take her seriously. At first I thought she was a populist, but decided she was a naive yahoo forced into a role..Personally, I think McCain should have been elected — and would have been elected — had he not he used faulty judgment to chose her as a running mate: she wasn’t nearly qualified enough, and I think it scared people. My wife and mother-in-law love her, by the way, and voted for her..She was used by everybody but in the end was well compensated for services rendered, actually, to both parties. .Please don’t confuse a sarcastic offhand comment with how I really feel. May she live long and prosper, and not end up hawking insurance for Colonial Penn. (Sorry, that just slipped out.).Let History judge. Personally, I think we all need to study what went on in America during the first third of the 20th Century. I think we are reliving it and making the same mistakes all over again but intensified by energy, population, and climate problems..I’ll be dead soon enough, and out of history and time. I leave it to you citizens to carry on with the world and all its creatures. But gd it, you gotta try be more kind..Too much coffee, again.
