Obama should’ve asked for a provisional authorization in CASE Syria decided to use a tiny portion of their huge stockpile of chemical weapons, months ago. When we attack now, all the relevant targets will be moved (among civilians in many cases). Of course, the runways will still be there……….

The Middle East has been the vexation of many a politician in many countries. The President is damned if he does (bomb) and damned if he doesn’t (but asks Congress). He did want the job, so he must face the consequences, but one can’t help but wonder how much he wants it when put in a hopeless lose-lose situation.
