Both as a small child and now at 41, I never did understand why many people who don’t have anything wrong with their hands find push down and turn to be so difficult

Had to get out the channelox to open a jar of pasta sauce the other day. Ah, the adjustments one has to make with age.

Hand pliers in the bathroom work just fine for the Nyquill tops. Found that out after much trial and error. And cursing.

Some pharmacies have caps you can put on upside-down and open the usual way. I’ve also seen caps you can push in the center part and it will operate normally.

I use a screw driver to break the vacuum on jars, & my good old nut cracker to open small screw top things.

I found this nifty opener online. You attach it under a kitchen counter and it opens everything from a nail polish bottle to big jars like pickles come in. It consists of a V shaped wedge of teeth like an alligator. Oh, I love that gadget! You whippersnapers will understand someday!
