US Marines (yeah!) call those red stripes on their uniform trousers “blood stripes.” You have to reach a certain rank before you get the honor of wearing them.

Since the Mailman isn’t really injured the Vet would be the right choice.Plus since it’s cat from face removal that they need a Vet once again would make the better choice.

They probably need the Vet to get the cat off & then he’ll for sure need the hospital. I know what it’s like after prying cat claws off after the cat had a scare when on my lap or in my arms!

The vet. Fewer germs that will kill you.

The vet, definitely. When I worked for a vet, a newbie, he told me to fetch a cat from its cage for a dentistry. I didn’t know there was particular way to get a cat from a cage. I reached in overhead and came out with the cat hanging from my arm, firmly attached with all claws in all four paws. When the vet saw me he said, cranky and dead serious, “What are you DOING with that cat??” His first procedure was to remove the bloody beast from my arm.

The vet would be better because they know how to handle te cat and the human

Give the cat a shot of valium. Or set a dish of salmon in the room and wait, patiently.
