Obamacare is an reasonable, market-based reform of a dysfunctional system that hurts, kills, and bankrupts many Americans. I have yet to hear an argument for repeal that wasn’t based on blind hatred and ignorance. As for the cartoon — excellent analysis of the GOP hostage taking of America’s financial health that they are promising for this fall.

The cost is passed right along to the insured. Unless you are in need of critical, urgent care, you will be turned away. It’s the health care equivalent of refusing to pay for new brakes until you crash your car.

What’s the problem with ACA for Republicans? The insurance oligopoly still rakes in their billions just the same as before? That is also why it is rejected by every country in the over-developed world, all of which outrank the US in both life expectancy and controlling infant and maternal mortality, despite many of them being far poorer in GNP and similar measures.

What about paying for the emergency room visits that you are currently paying for for the uninsured? That is the only option for the un-insured and the very MOST expensive care given.
