Laughing out loud at 1:18 from this one! (And, yeah, I hate “lol.”)

Next time, find a used-up toothbrush, not an in-use toothbrush. (What an unlucky day for a dentist.)

No, Michael said that Ellie said that she didn’t know how to clean dust off soap.

does anyone actually still do the fancy soap thing? I stopped when liquid soap came out, I get liquid soap from Lysol and put it in the motion operated dispenser and problem is solved.

It’s not easy to get the dust out of the nooks of the soap shaped of shells you need a tooth brush. I have some that my niece gave me . I use it so it doesn’t get dusty.

I’m glad it was John who had this experience, after last week’s strips I’m not too pleased with him.

Does anyone here remember that this is a comic strip and it’s supposed to be funny, cute, or maybe even a little impossible? Laugh for goodness sake!

@realist666If you don’t want to mess up the decorative soaps, you can stick them in your underwear drawer to make things smell good.

I still have some of those silly little soaps in shapes of swans and such, but so true they are only pretty until used once (so now put away and forgotten) except for this note, and I use liquid soap as well as a plain glycerin bar in both powder room and my personal bathroom.

“Dumb kid ! He could just ‘wash’ the soap.”

That’s no fun!By the way, one of the funniest things I’ve read concern, among other things, ancient decorative bathroom soaps. See http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=299118The comments have some rough language, but if you can deal with that, you’ll get some giggles.

Old toothbrushes are good for cleaning between the blades of a reciprocating electric shaver. An amazing amount of gunk can build up between them if you just use the soft brushes provided.
