How big or small is your lawn and how often do you cut it?

So why is she telling him about the neighbours’ lawn, but doesn’t want him to tell the neighbours’ about their lawn?

We haven’t been able to mow our yards due to the weather. It seems when we think about mowing, it rains. Because of drought conditions, we haven’t watered our yards, but the weeds don’t seem to care. They need to be mowed but the weather is hampering our efforts.

I don’t. I have lawn care people who do all that and then some for me.

Three acres – 1/3 is now a community garden, 1/3 is un-mowed, 1/3 is mowed by the land owner.

small yard, and it gets cut by lawn service every 2 weeks. My husband used to cut it on the weeks in between but this year he has not done it due to knee surgery.

The lawn is small and I have no backyard at all because the house backs up to a river. And besides that, my next door neighbor cuts mine weekly during the spring, summer and fall. He has always done that, even before I knew who was doing it.

It’s such a nice casual morning that I just spent time reading every comment, and enjoyed leaning about everyone’s lawn (really, not being sarcastic)…still don’t get the punch line of the comic though.

I don’t know, if memory serves 60 ft x 120 feet in back, and 30 ft x 60 ft in the front, I guess, I forget. Gets mowed every couple weeks as a rule. Either by son or hubby.

Townhouse with an HOA – No lawn work for me… but there’s always the flower beds in my courtyard – ugh!

3 1/2 hours if I use the “walk behind mower” 45 minutes if I use the tractor. I let it go dormant during the summer.

When I moved here, it was the size and shape of a small putting green. I had it demolished and installed the waterfall, pond and flagstone patios on the sides in its place. and I almost forgot the palm trees.

Have about 2 acres of grass and the rest is woods. It gets cut every other week by one of the guys that works for us. We take it off his rent bill as he lives in the little house that came with the business. Before little man came along I cut it with a “self propelled” snerk mower. Used to take me 2 1/2 hours.

beviek had the right answer. My cooking will never win any awards. The hubby and I run our own business and have a kid. We both work like dogs, but I still get to be head cook, laundry girl and bottle washer. Woohoo!

@edclectic that is a great idea. I bet you and the wife make a spicy team in the kitchen. Unfortunately my hubby is a picky guy and won’t eat anything reheated. Stew is about the only thing we do lefovers on. Silly man doesn’t know how good some things are after they sit a bit and meld together. Oh well, I can’t change him….all I can do is cook for him. :-)

I just saw another toon that had an arc Daddy could use (with the question – “How many pairs of shoes are around your house (not put away) and whose are they?”

1 AL. Had to cut it every week since the first of March this year. Normally we have drought and high heat in Atlanta beginning July 1, but this year we have not hit 90 and it rains three times every week. You’d think I was living in the Pacific northwest instead of the old South.

2+ acres plus trails through the woods. About 8+ miles of mowing (GPS) Then comes the trimming.
