    Strawberries – but there’s a time and place for watermelon as well. And just so you know, Peg would be complaining about the sticky mess in the hamper if they did not disrobe. We were always kicked outside as kids.

    That’s liking asking which is my favorite cat. As with vegetables, I love any properly ripened fruit.

    WHY would you put salt on something that doesn’t need seasoning?

    the salt seems to up the flavor of the melon, makes it sweeter.

    Both! Difficult choice there to pick one over the other.

    But yes, I could never understand why anyone would salt watermelon. Hubby does that too. I love salt, just not on my watermelon.
