That’s hogwash. Dogs can be easily trained to understand “Sit,” “Heel,” “Stay,” etc.

“That’s hogwash. Dogs can be easily trained to understand “Sit,” “Heel,” “Stay,” etc.”>Everyday somebody doesn’t get it (today it’s you), so today it’s me that says it:It’s a comic.

I once saw a police dog being trained. It took me a while to realize that the “foose, foose” the trainer was constantly saying was “Fuss”, German for “foot”, though in this case it’s the command “heel”.

Years later a member of our local K-9 squad told me that American dogs of German shepherd variety are so inbred and prone to hip dysplasia that American police and military only use dogs from Europe.

People still picking on Slim. Good grief..Slim, you need to find another comic strip – one where they might appreciate you!.Gretchen: Why do you assume that, just because you’re down on your luck, you have an automatic meal ticket at mom and dad’s?.Why are you watching your “agent’s” dog? Is he really your “agent”?.Gretchen was unannounced, the dog was uninvited, everyone is mooching off of Slim,.And yet, we’re to believe that it’s all Slim’s fault?.Give me Joel and the preacher on Sundays, any day, please!

Of course, the biggest problem, perhaps what Michyle Glen observed when she was working for Schwan’s, is that for many dog owners, what is “bad” behavior, sometimes even intimidating behavior, to us, to the owner is just a “dog being a dog.” Some owners even consider their dog’s bad behaviors as downright “cute.”.In the mean time, I’m the one always getting fined by my HOA for dog poo on my lawn – and I don’t even have one of the mangy critters!.Quote the HOA: Unless I hang out and get pictures of the offending dogs and their owners, “there’s nothing (they) can do.” Oh, so I’m supposed to quit my job so I can police my yard all day, seven days a week?.I know, I know, I know. I’m being told to just shut up, go outside, and pick up the dog poo!

How do you say no in Italian? “No.” Giacomo is a big, loveable dog, but he is untrained. I like him, though. I predict a story of his training coming up. I recall when Klein got his ears and tail cropped. It was a good series.

I learned early a life lesson; a cat person and a dog idjit should never marry. “o-o-o-o-o-look! (slobber-slobber-hump-hump) he LIKES you!” Sooner I shoulda wed the snake-woman.

Late in the day and a comic strip I’m not sure many follow:.Last words on HOA:.With all the nonsense about how “government” gets into our lives and the “advantages” of home ownership over renting,.HOAs seem to rule with an iron fist, are more arbitrary than any landlord I have ever dealt with, and are far more feared than any government agency, local or federal!

So this whole time she never once mention this. She sent her father to the store with a huge dog and never told him that he didn’t speak English.

Hmm. Willow_Cougar thinks the dog is “lovable” and looks forward to a story about training the dog. UncaJim and Night-Gaunt49 have a different take. I lean toward the latter two rather than the former..Gretchen herself is mooching off of Slim. The dog was totally uninvited. The situation regarding this so-called agent is very, very suspicious: Is he really looking for a job for Gretchen? Is he really her “agent”?.Of course, why is Gretchen watching his dog?.It is this last question that bothers me the most: Is Gretchen really hiding a boyfriend or fiancé from Slim and Clovia?.Or, have I been reading too much Dick Tracy?
