One of many things wrong with this strip and, perhaps, life itself. Not a dog owner expected to know what to do with a dog, not a dog owner expected to have the correct equipment to restrain a dog, not a dog owner expected to pick up after everyone else’s dog, the list goes on and on and on and on….In this case, Slim expected to have a muzzle for the dog. Of course he doesn’t..But he doesn’t have a baby, either..So, where the sam hill did he come up with a binky?

I think I know exactly what he means, and I think that shock collars are cruel devices that do more harm than good.
