Now that it’s obvious costs ARE going to come down, and would come down further if Republicans had allowed “single payer” to come through, instead of private insurance, just as they pushed “private pricing” on pharmaceuticals in Medicare, to merely double, at a minimum, what the government pays for drugs.

Hit the wrong button: to conclude; now that Republicans haven’t a leg to stand on with their “arguments”, they won’t even discuss anything that might fix what THEY broke with their part of the ACA bill.

Even when Obama does delay what the Republicans hated most, employers meeting their obligations, the bitch and declare it’s an “election ploy”, over a year before an election!!

Coraryan and Tigger too: I’ve been on Medicare for several years, along with my pension medical insurance (mostly to cover my spouse), and VA. My mom will be 101 years old in two weeks, and I’ve been administering her supplemental policies now for four years since my brother died, and she’s also on Medicaid in Florida. While Florida has been making cuts in services, it’s the increased cost of drugs for Medicare, thanks totally to REPUBLICANS who forbid negotiation prices, that have led to 99.9% of the increases in premiums. “Single Payer”, as well as price negotiation neither the medical industry, insurance industry, or REPUBLICAN LEGISLATORS want, is the answer to your “problems”. I suggest you contact your REPUBLICAN legislators and read THEM the riot act, as THAT is your “problem”.

Maybe “Mr. I did community service for my illegal drug use” Limbaugh will be willing to help you out, as he’s in Florida, like Jeb’s daughter who ALSO got caught selling drugs, and only did “community service”.

I also never said the ACA should be declared unconstitutional Tigger, I said that Republicans making PRIVATE COMPANIES it’s sole beneficiaries, was dead wrong way to go. But you’ve never read and understood anything anyone’s said to date, so why change??

The purpose of Obamacare was not to get costs down, it was to eventually push us into a single payer system. Soon America will be like all single payer systems where those in power get the best healthcare and the rest of get put on an “End of life pathway” when it costs too much to keep us alive.England is a prime example. At some point they simply stop providing fluids and food. Thousands of people die of dehydration in their hospital beds every year. Those who doubt that this is going on, look it up.
