We stopped one of our children from taking so many advanced classes because it was too much work. Her entire weekend would be taken up with projects and the stress of getting them done and she didn’t have time to just be a kid.

I love it when comic strips throw in little Easter eggs like that. Zits has a habit of throwing in jagged line patterns like that on Charlie Brown’s shirt. In my own comic strip I have two aliens and I use parts of ships from 2001 and Star Wars for the interiors.

“You are responsible for your own life and safety! It is NOT my job.” Which means you should stop demanding that people you don’t know, whose health you know nothing about get a vaccine and afford them the freedom to consult with their doctor. Or am I reading that wrong?Instead of people demanding that I get a shot, how about I demand that you take the same measures I take to fortify your immune system: workout three times a week, minimum, don’t smoke, don’t drink, don’t consume sugar, caffeine, processed, or inflammatory foods, eat fresh fruits and vegetables with every meal, make your own yogurt and salad dressing, take cold showers, ice cold, and when you eat fast food, it has to be a salad. Sound reasonable?

Tell that to people in Israel, one of the most vaccinated countries in the world, yet they cannot get it under control, and are even now discussing a fifth booster.

I would say the information about the Kentucky poison control center is probably baloney. Another story ran recently that claimed that a Kentucky hospital had to turn away gunshot victims because their emergency room was overcrowded with people who had misused the animal version of ivermectin. It was picked up by various organizations and ended up being pulled because it was completely made up. Another story claimed that a children’s hospital was over crowded with kids who were suffering from covid because they had not been vaccinated. Also made up. Then there was the story last year about testing centers in NYC with people in their cars backed up for hours waiting to get tested. But then some people got the bright idea to go to these very testing centers and guess what they found. No cars waiting at all.One thing about covid is that there is no shortage of misinformation, whether its the stories I mentioned above, or a cnn commentator who got caught pretending to be locked down when he wasn’t (I guess it completely slipped his mind that he was on television and someone might recognize him). To get a good example you can try this. Google 233 new covid cases and see what you get. Story after story with the exact same numbers all over the world. In other words, lies.

This is true. They bitch and moan on social media but few of them ever contact their representatives. I would venture to say that very few of them even know the names of those who represent them in the house and senate. If the people in Washington heard from just 15% of their voters they would not be as likely to vote partyline on every subject.

A nurse in New south wales Australia has come out and said that the hospital she was working at was treating breakthrough cases of covid (those that have been vaccinated) with ivermectin.

You might want to actually read someone’s comments before replying. I never said anything about facebook, nor did I say they only had one avenue of funding, but they got demonized across the board.

Why don’t you try looking it up. It would take you all of five minutes to get informed, but just calling someone names I guess takes a lot less effort and thought. Wouldn’t want you to get out of your comfort zone.
