Not truth but he did come from a time where this was real. I would say hes a man of his time as is Paula Deen. There is racism in America and until we are able to open talk and mock both sides without being hurt by it we are going to be problems.

As usual, which America you experience (Good vs. Bad) depends on which “neighborhood” you walk in. Travon found that out the hard way. Problem is you can’t always tell from external appearances which one you’ll get. And, in a side note: if extremism on either side (Good vs. Bad America) is wrong: my vote is for Good. Thoughts??

Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson need America to be divided or they become unnecessary. They desperately exploit any situation to make it look like a Race thing to add legitimacy to their positions.

With any luck they will fade away.

Jackson and Sharpton want racism to go away. I think they’d be thrilled if it happened in their lifetimes. There are many other societal ills that could be addressed if racism didn’t get in the way.

Sounds disgraceful, but not true..As usual, the right wing talk show hosts take an issue and lie and distort to suit their message. And then the followers promote it as truth. The White House sent people to Sanford, Fl. to advise the locals how to keep the peace when there could be racial demonstrations. Its been done before, will be done again, and serves a useful purpose.

If anyone still thinks racism doesn’t exist, check out the hateful comments on the latest Cheerios commercial.

Apparently in Bok’s mind there aren’t any racists in America. If he were watching the all star game he would have seen a Mexican singing God Bless America, according to the angry red necks who watched the MLB All-Star game.

From the way I see it, these race baiters’ are looking to make it a crime to say or do anything towards minorities and make it a hate crime as with Gays, or the same way we cannot say anything about the Islamic extremists. It has gotten to the point that because this Country was built by White Settlers and that through 1928 their ancestors were forced to live a way they are not today, the White community must be punished for the acts of those in our past. Instead of trying to move on and build a better community for the children in these minorities we keep trying to blame those outside of their culture. It is not racism causing the problems in their culture. It is lack of teaching and showing the kids how to become better than those in the past. Many people from these minority communities have gone on to make it in the world. Why don’t they begin to make changes in their own culture instead of making excuses for it? Racism is a personal issue as we see from Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson. They are holding back those for whom they say it will free when it ends from moving on if the kids ignore what will not effect their goals if they try.

Bit of a stretch. Sounds like Sharpton, so I’ll assume it is. Most of the rhetoric seems intended to be funny to the specific audience. One recording was an explanation of the use of language. Another was a view of history before the time of Christ.So what have you got on Jesse Jackson?

@Gypsy8 – I don’t believe you have any proof that the Zimmerman verdict was based on race. In fact I think the jury was given a set of facts and they came to a conclusion based on the evidence presented. What does Voter suppression have to do with the Zimmerman trial.

Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson are exploiting the fear and hatred of the masses in the very same way that Hitler used the masses in the 30s. They tell the masses that they are a victim, they give them a victimizer (Whitey), then they tell the masses they will never get a fair break until the victimizer is brought low.

How is that any different then what Hitler did in the 1930s. They told the German people (suffering under rampant inflation and a poor job market) that their suffering was because of the evil jews.

Honest, hard working people, of any race or nationality can do well in this country. I see it all the time in my office and in my community.

Unfortunately BOTH are real.

God bless this cartoonist for telling the truth. Racism is only a small minority today. But radicals like Al Sharpton don’t want racism to end because they would be out of a job!

I do NOT support, or like the “extremist” nature of Sharpton or Jackson’s rhetoric, but considering they represent the “flip side” of Limbaugh and Beck, interesting the backers of either side don’t recognize THAT TRUTH!

LISTEN to Limbaughs constant attacks, and little taped “ditties” insulting and attacking blacks and hispanics, constantly, the defend this racist, bigoted, drug-dealing junkie, who skated on criminal charges HE HIMSELF, for decades, declared should result in not less than life in prison. IEB is the “Hate, Hypocrisy, and lies” network.

Again, no, I don’t care for extremist rhetoric, but Bok, and the “righites” DO need to open their eyes to the REAL America, that is in actuality becoming MORE divided by hate.

Black people have nothing to complain about. Hey, I should know, I’m white.

I heard no apologies from Sharpton and Jackson when they wrongly accused whites of raping a young black lying woman in the past. He is like a black Rush Limbaugh who enjoys the spot light at others expense.

I wouldn’t consider Allen West or Judicial Watch objective sources of information. Allen West sticks consistently to the Conservative talking points and Judicial Watch is heavily weighted toward anti-Democrat initiatives.

You could also label the one on the left ‘how democrats see America’ and the one on the right ‘how republicans see America’.

Before the shooting, I watched Al Sharpton several times a week for about 6 months. I thought he was entertaining, Now I see in one minute that it is going to be the same thing every day, and I don’t watch.

“……Voter suppression, my a$$! What a joke!..”.You are talking about voter irregularities, which is a different issue than voter suppression. Voting irregularities appear to be a large number in America, not necessarily a significant number. There are reports of voting irregularities from both sides. Usually they don’t swing elections and sometimes they do. George Bush thanks very much all those who helped him out.

Pick a noted extremist and hold him up as a justification for all the extremists of the other fringe. Nice, Chip. Your insights are very helpful to the nation.

the only thing they are doing is making money If everyone was peaceful they would not be able to blackmail companies to give them money so they can pay for their girlfriends. I am sorry but were they in California when they black guys raped the girl . and yes a hole whites do it also.
