Getting rid of the Obstructionist Conservatives would surely go a long way towards allowing us to solve many of our problems. Get them out of our personal lives and give us back our freedom."

Well it’s about time someone figured out what Obama is…an Obstructionist Conservative….must be since almost all the intrusive acts by government have been continued, or expanded by him. Dick Cheney’s l’il brother with a tan.

In the future we’ll start fresh every election cycle, beginning with the last one. Republican incumbents will typically be regarded as RINOs and challenged in the primaries by Teabaggers; who will then force their incumbent opponents to drift towards more extreme positions than their Teabagger challengers, until the two are indistinguishable. The winners of those Pyrrhic primaries then, for unimaginable reasons, will manage to distinguish themselves by taking their ignorance of women, minorities, students, reproductive biology, and the Middle Class too far and too publically. Which will slowly, but inexorably, result in fewer and fewer Republicans winning.………. ……..Unless, of course, GOP-controlled statehouses manage to reinstate poll taxes and literacy tests to flourish along with all their other voter-suppression tactics to disenfranchise targeted voters. They have no other choice, except to exterminate them with guns, which would be illegal. Except in Florida, of course.

Voters have an opportunity every few years to “start fresh.” But they typically don’t see their own representatives as part of the problem.

If you mean some area of the USA that isn’t controlled by a Republican-controlled, GOP-gerrymandered, anti-woman, racist legislature, I wish I could go there. Unfortunately I reside in Texas, where the clowns control the legislature and, for now, the governor’s mansion. Rick Perry may end up being the GOP nominee for POTUS in three years, which ought to make you Teabaggers thrilled. Which, actually, suits me just fine. I think he’s the best-qualified Republican for the office of POTUS alive today, but only because his nomination will hasten the end of the GOP.

“I never knew the people in Nevada were so stupid as to keep electing this doddering old fool.”

I agree Mr. Reid should be easily defeated. However, when the R’s ran Sharron “I don’t like press conferences because they never ask the questions I want them to ask” Angle, who was filmed literally running away from reporters who had questions for her (more than once), even Mr. Reid looked attractive. If the R’s want greater numbers, they need to find better opponents for the D’s.

PAJ, sometimes you need to open your mind; complimenting me on my eloquence is a good beginning. Stand your ground in the face of overwhelming Truth if you like; just don’t shoot anyone trying to deliver the goods. Though in the right state and with the right jury, doing so will make you a community hero.

I can relate. These Teabaggers are so easy to mess with. Like shooting ducks on a pond – it’s just not fair when all they do all day is sit there in their Whites Only trailer park outside their broken down Airstreams, pecking away at their Radio Shack laptops, hoping someone like you or me or Gary McSpook or Genome Project or one of the other people with actual lives will cruise by and notice them.
