Ain’t that the truth. We actually, unbeknownst to our party, had a waitress quit and walk out ( nothing I did, I swear ! ). We sat for over 30 minutes before the owner realized what had happened. Aside from profuse apologies, he comped everything – including several rounds of drinks – for our party of eight.Our new server was more than adequately compensated, since almost all of us at the table worked in the industry at the time.
