Talk to the GOP. This is the first recession in 75 years where the congress has blocked all jobs bills. They passed a jobs bill for Bush, they did it for Clinton, they did it for Reagan; but after the worst depression since 1929 no help at all, because the GOP hopes that kicking the unemployed and making them suffer will somehow hurt Obama. The solution is simple, but it requires removing the GOP from power.

“I have a couple facts for you. Not “facts” provided by some pudgy, ink-stained agenda pusher, but facts that are visible to anyone who will see.”

I assume from your dialog you come down on the liberal side of this discussion. So I posted some data from liberal sources. Your generalization based on your personal observation may be satisfying to your limited outlook, but it doesn’t hold up to information from many sources, both government and business. I would suggest that many of the people (I know people myself) unemployed longer than 6 months are neither addicts or lazy. This recession officially ended in 2009 and the employment gains henceforth have been some of the worst in our country. Aside from all else, your comment is based on two short term examples and shows that employment is available, but it doesn’t address the problem of hiring of long term unemployed versus short term.

House Republicans haven’t passed a single true “jobs bill”, they’ve all been bills to deregulate corporate abuse even further, and falsely CLAIM to be jobs bills.

Last jobs report wasn’t fantastic, but we did get 20,000 more private sector jobs than anticipated. Any growth after the disaster of “Reaganomics” and “W”, is an improvement from 2008.

" Last time I checked, conservatives want to get big fat overweight socialist government out of the regulation business so companies can start growing again."Travel to West, Texas and take a good look at what effect government deregulation can have on industry. You can also look at your history books and see what life was like during the unregulated days of the industrial revolution. Pay particular attention to food quality, or lack there of. Rich people create jobs. Not deadbeat loser socialists or big government. They’ve been creating jobs in under regulated China, which allows virtual slave labor and is now home to some of the most polluted real estate on Earth.

"Rich people create jobs; jobs create rich people. China has some rich people.Yes, the owners of the factories that exploit the workforce and pollute the environment are getting rich. As China slowly begins to regulate industry to curb pollution and improve working conditions, companies will move the Chinese jobs to some other under regulated country to exploit and pollute.

"NBC News has Obama on Tape stating: “I vow to Veto any Jobs Bill Passed by The House that reaches my Desk.”And yet you provide no link to it. One would think you’d be eager for us to listen to such damning evidence against the man you say is our messiah. As for the “jobs bill,” you need to define what makes it a “jobs bill.” As has already been stated, more tax cuts for the wealthy and industry deregulation does not equate to a “jobs bill.”

Partisan politics just divides you. The parties are two heads of the same snake.
