Policies since REAGAN have made it much harder to find good jobs in America, and it’s corporate power, and REPUBLICAN policies that have allowed our good jobs to migrate overseas. Amazing the right-wingers get it “dittohead backward” at every step.
Taking over 16% of GDP would mean UHC, not Obamacare. Never mind that courtesy of price jacking, that rate is inflated, a case in which GDP is not a good measure
CNC is a product of technological advancement that reduces cost of labour, however as you have pointed out this ends up depreciating value of field^Ideally this would be used to the benefit of people, however for companies that don’t want to expand inventory ( oversupply), or want to remain financially liquid so dividends may be issued. This becomes a problem.^Ideally having open public investment in modern machinery that would pay back into system, i.e government owned institutions would be able to absolve this problem, however thanks to red scare that is far off the path, that and governments have wonderful habits of gutting government owned institutions for short term profits in an effort to reduce taxes, deficit and so forth.
