Anyone stop to realize how many thousands of jobs in “coal” were lost to machines in underground mines, open pit and strip mining, and mountain top removal practices? Production and profits kept going up, and employment kept going down, THAT is the real story of “coal jobs”.

May I re-interpret? It makes little sense to ruin the planet for yourself and future generations for a short-term monetary gain.
Or….it’s unwise to live for now and disregard future consequences.
