“The truth will prevail, liberals.”The truth is the Republicans will stop caring about the budget deficit the moment a Republican is elected President.

Conservative say they care care about the budget deficit. But conservative presidents consistently grow deficits. Democratic presidents reduce them. History.

Simple fact: while it still is not a 24/7 answer, and does present its own environmental problems, wind generated electricity is now cheaper to produce than coal, and IS cleaner.

The impacts, like worker deaths, to produce coal are far more hazardous than wind and hydro. Much as I hate to say it, even nuclear may not only be cleaner (other than the mining of uranium) and safer, than coal. BTW, some of the byproducts of burning coal are also radioactive!

The rest of the world is enjoying cleaner air and saving money. We’re the only ones dumb enough to not realize this.

The money being wasted and defrauded from our gov’t due to the legislature’s failure to practice due diligence and use their committees to properly investigate and supervise the many groups and organizations each committee oversees can’t help but cost us billions. These cannibalistic committee heads and their Senate (Reid) & House (Boehnor) leaders give their allies positions of power on important committees and these ‘leaders’ too often turn out to be incompetent or disinterested in anything but the ability to tell people in the next election that they are a committee head. The only time some committess gather is when the press shows interest in their committee. The partisan fools, in their effort to manipulate public opinion for the next elections, fail to do their jobs, to read their bills, or to talk across aisles or paradigms to find compromise. They spend hours a day making calls to donors. And America declines. The only success our politicians and their media tools have done with any real effect is to turn neighbors against neighbors and reduce the level of Civil discourse to barely noticeable levels. As we celebrate the birthday of our United States, I pray my neighbors might set aside their partisan rancor and realize that when the bucket lines need to form, the person who is our friend is the one on the right AND the left of us.Respectfully,C.

Obama and Bernanke are shoveling money into the engine boiler at the rate of $85 Billion per month……and Obama’s train is on the track to a Wrecked America, bankrupt and disconnected from the Founders’ system.

“Deniers”, and those who don’t see that “green energy” is still an increasingly sophisticated, and functional, technology, are the descendants of the folks telling the Wright brothers powered flight was impossible.

The fact that infrastructure is still relatively small for wind, and solar, but growing rapidly, is the reason coal, hydro, and nuclear still produce more power, but that’s changing.

My rural county has very few people, but is getting more solar “farms”. Even one small setup on the edge of town is exporting a lot more power than we use here. But, that too is part of the problem, it is the transportation of that energy, from coal, hydro, or nuclear, that is the real cost, and waste. If every “jurisdiction” works at greater energy independence with “green” forms of production, gee, the sun shines everywhere, we’ll start solving some of the problems.

As whole books are written on any of the several elements we’re addressing, it IS interesting that cartoon denier bloggers have all the answers in a paragraph, or in a sentence based on stupidity. (They’re way beyond the salvation of simple ignorance.)
