    Yeah, boring him to death.

Do they ever munch on celery sticks or carrot sticks?

    Good Morning All

And those carrots? Do they contain chocolate, or cream filling?

It would never occur to either Joy or Verla that their men take them for granted. Comfortable, indeed!

They don’t do or talk about anything worth staying awake for.

Somehow, that’s what makes them so entertaining to us.We love to watch them accomplish nothing, think no thoughts, and live only to consume.

Sort of like gorillas in the zoo…OMGawd …. did you see what he did?

X ,,,, that would mean he had planned on an act of…. um…interpersonal communication, the commission of which, no man or woman should have to imagine…..

Even that much contemplation calls for passing out free samples of M&S SSU BB Fruit Chews:

(though I do thank you for the spur to business.)

He is just catching up on the sleep he didn’t have when on vacation. Sleeping on a cot wasn’t really that comfy for him and the out side light was in his face.

He’d also likely fall asleep during other personal moments with her as well.

Good real morning Crustwood….. IT’s 7:45 here in IL where our X-governors make our license plates. .Probably JERRY is so loaded with sugar that he can’t stay awake….. ! ! ! .My salad yesterday included home grown lettuce, radishes, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers and sugar snap peas. Only onions and peppers with store bought.

They haven indeed been known to have celery sticks. They make a great delivery system for Cheese Whiz. Fill stick with Cheese Whiz. Lick Cheese Whiz out of celery stick. Repeat. Of course, in the end, you’re left with that celery stick to do something with. I mean besides leaving it in a jar of water in the refrigerator to make people think you eat them.

I care. My supper salad was fresh string beans and celery (and grape tomatoes) with dried kidney beans and garbansos in my red wine vinegar dressing. No veggies in my garden now ;-(

Today is my lover’s 75th birthday (we’re the same age until mine on Sept 30th).

Those salads sound great to me. We could add some sliced yellow squash. Ours is abundant this year. And thanks for the fruit flavored B B Susan. Kiwi – Mango is an interesting blend.

I care too! Wanna go outside? We went over to our little Arboretum yesterday and picked sugar snaps, beets, lettuce, and zuchinni. Nobody seems to know all their veggies are free for the taking! My husband is on the Urban Forestry Commission, thats how we know. My garden is producing tomatoes, with beans and carrots to follow. Dazzs comment that all her veggies are over, reminded me that when we lived in Las Vegas, we planted everything in February, so by now it would be to hot to grow anything but rocks!

I have a wonderful crop of tomatoes, but the egg plants are not happy. The apricots and mulberries are over but we still have some papayas. The figs are coming as are the persimmons. I wish I had room for more!

@Pipe, just as above, it is roughcut wood formed into a double layer of slats and formed like a shallow box. Good for shipping heavy objects when they are well affixed.
