Equal rights is not the right to have unrestrained license. The minority should be protected from oppression, but the Majority makes the social rules. It seems in this case the Left would like to have no limits on sexual behavior. The person making the NAMBLA joke is making a joke, but I see the line moving closer to that in this ruling, which is sad. If having a moral standard makes me a Wingnut, then I am fine with that.
Wrong. Same-sex marriages were determined to be legal under the California Constitution, prior to Prop. 8. Prop. 8 was ruled to be in violation of the California Constitution, and therefore invalid. The Prop. 8 supporters appealed that ruling to the U.S. District Court, and the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the US Supreme Court, and were denied on sound legal grounds every step of the way.
Prop. 8 was not only “a bad law”, it was “bad law.”
“Say what you will, do what you will, God will have the last word. He will remove his hand of blessing from our country and we will be brought down low before long.”Those are your beliefs and you have the right to have them. What you don’t have is the right do deny other people their rights based on your beliefs.
“NAMBLA thanks you for your opinion.”NAMBLA has zero to do with two consenting adults getting married. Deal with it. Your statement is akin to equating the Obama Administration with Nazi’s. It’s utter BS and shows your ignorance.
The god most worshipped by our government members these days appears to be Mammon. Our politicians and plutocrats may think they can live on money, but I believe Mother Nature will disillusion them, if they aren’t stopped pretty soon.
Mother Nature is a pragmatist, though. Even though some of us know she’ll have the last word, we know, too, that it won’t help us.
“really then were do I go to opt out of the EPA regs, and Obamacare and the associated taxes?”
You don ‘t. Regulatory processes don’t require a vote. There are a bunch of whackos who believe that income taxes are unconstitutional and would have you just stop filing.
“Call I suggest you read a little Locke, Mill, Jefferson and Adams. Your ignorance of logic and western philoiphy is sad.”By all means enlighten me, oh wise one. Explain to me what Locke, Mill, Jefferson or Adams had to say that would refute my comments thus far on this cartoon. Please be specific and post references.

All libs know how to do is sue or obstruct when they don’t get their way. The law or the majority of the people means nothing to them. Crybabies.

The problem is that some segments so the population don’t want equal rights. They want special rights.

That was the phrase that escaped me. Thank you!

Could be. My money is on Mother Nature, though.

" … by the way did you know that the majority of the yes votes were from minoritys?"
Why would that surprise anyone? A very substantial portion of our ‘minorities’ are Roman Catholics …
That would seem natural enough to me.

Sensible people don’t recommend that, though :-)
