Really bad timing. Another comic strip like this called “Brevity”
at comics.com had one yesterday about a brush fire approaching a little antique store. The sign out front of it said “Fire sale: everything must go”. The comments on it said that this was really bad timing giving the brush fires that happen over in Queensland
Australia that took the lives of so many people.
If you’re going to get hypersensitive about offending a group of strangers for whom reading a comic strip is the farthest thing from their minds, at least get the right part of the country. The fires are in Victoria, not Queensland.
