Rose represents the typical attitude of recipients of the welfare state. There is no gratitude for what has done for them by those who contribute. Instead they hold those who do the work in contempt and are quick to find fault when their increasing demands are being met.I have no problem in helping someone who is actual need and are trying to care for himself. I do have a problem with the leeches that Rose and Scotty represent.
