Tried walking down a downtown sidewalk lately? I had to dodge texters every 10-15 feet! While we’re at it, this province has a hands-free law when driving. I saw a 10 year old kid on a bicycle, talking on his cell phone. I"m sure that’s ticketable, too.
No need to pay attention to anything other than your phones while crossing streets. They’re just 2000 LB automobiles inhabited by people driving with their emotions.
This is funny – I love it. Great comments. @Vegas Viper – I just sat in the DMV for over an hour. They had a sign that said to turn off cell phones. Everyone just sat there wide-eyed and fidgety. Don’t know if you meant sitting in the DMV or cell phones as a waste of time but I agree with both.
That does not seem to far fetched. I see people all the time texting while crossing the street, either that or on their headphones, oblivious to their surroundings.

Something is missing, like little pictures of texters, painted on the auto, indicating confirmed hits.

Ads for large windows urge us to “bring the outdoors indoors.”
Sometimes, sitting on a bench, say, Googling something on my smartphone, I feel almost guilty, like now I’m bringing the indoors outdoors.

BTW…. thanks to those of you yesterday who corrected me…
Apparently…. sigh…. I can make bad jokes but I can’t even count to four.
Sadly, I guess I have to wonder whether those things are related.

The people in the car need cell phones held up to their heads too.

Yes, very sadly, the texters will fill that role….

Try sitting in the DMV…Not a isle set of hands in the joint…To me it’s just a waste of time.
