We were at Legs Inn up in Cross Village, MI, a couple hundred feet above Lake Michigan ( salt free) and watched a little bee come and go carrying little bits of smoked Salmon that was setting on the table…Didn’t mean no harm…Kinda cute, really….
Brooke is definitely a he. The request was made after several innapropriate comments on activities of the characters, Including at least one link to a rewritten 9CWL comic. Even without being fed properly the trolls were getting out of hand. The current Pibgorn arc deals with a troll and is probably one way Brooke McEldowny is expressing his feelings towards internet trolls.
The Chickweed 9 comments got especially nasty towards the other commenters, the author, the characters, and just about anything that you could think of during the Music Contest series of strips several years ago. After that the plug got pulled. The monitors were yanking comments so often back then that I don’t think anyone at the site objected in the least to Brooke’s request.
