Sunny! You found my stolen bike! Actually, my Dad found it, He was arresting a suspect and noticed it in the yard. I can't believe he remembered what my bike looked like! My Dad is and amazing police officer. Ah!!! It has a big scratch!

count your blessings, kid. I don’t know the exact statistics, but there’s a very small percentage of stolen bikes that are actually recovered. the cops have bigger fish to fry, plus even when a stolen bike is actually found, there’s usually no way to identify the original owner.

Software like this is why I still have a dumb phone. At least on the web I can ignore the ads.

Sorry. The police have more important things to deal with than some hipster who apparently can’t figure out that if you do not secure your belongings, some roaming theif will take it.
