My wife uses the oven to store pots and pans, cookie sheets and other items. I’m not sure it’s possible to use it to cook any more.

Gladys remembers easily though — all she has to do is make something Brutus HATES (Shepherd’s Surprise for example).

I have two NuWave induction burners and a NuWave infrared convection oven. They made my conventional range obsolete. I store my crock pot in the oven. Not and ad, just tellin’ ya.

i don’t have a microwave in our kitchen..it messes my head up….

Microwave ovens are best for baked potatoes and popcorn. Other cooking takes thought and art. Another use is to cook oatmeal in the morning when getting ready for work. The secret for doing this is to cook the oatmeal in a much larger bowl at about 60% power.

The Gas &Electric Co. replaced my gas meter two years ago because it hadn’t registered any usage in four years (from when I moved into my home). I tried to explain it was because I never used my stove (the only thing in my house hooked up to the gas) but they didn’t believe me.Now, I’m seeing how long it will be before they replace it again.Long live my microwave!
