I still have a cassette tape of highlights from “Der Rosenkavalier”, but everything is backwards. My friend’s father retaped it on his ancient reel-to-reel machine, and played it backwards/forwards – yup, it was Strauss alright, but we couldn’t find any Satanic messages in the forwards/backwards/normal playing.
