Good morning Vagabonds.Well we didn’t get the T showers we were supposed to yesterday and last tonight. We had a T storm around 2:30-3:00 pm Sat. that was more noise than rain. Then the sun came out and when it became dark the moon was out with very few clouds. I guess the worst storms were south of us. Whether the heat wave has been broken or not, we will have to wait until the sun comes up.

A friend I haven’t seen since last year visited me and repaired my VHS tapes that were broken so I could copy them. At his suggestion, I lowered my A/C temperature to 63 degrees – much cooler.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Wow, Arye! We keep ours at 80 most of the time.

Another T-storm last night. This one had hail bigger than sugar cubes. The outside temp went from 98 to 76 in abut 1/2 hour and the humidity went from 25% to 85% even faster. After the hail, we had rain so fast and furious the streets were flooded, and we’re at the TOP of the hill! On the bright side, we were able to open up windows last night, and aired out the house for the first time in over a month.

Well, I’m off to church. Have a great Sunday everyone.

I’d love to have my a/c on 63 degrees but my wife and 5 year old would be too cold. Also, the electric bill would be out of our budget. Arye is doing the right thing my staying cool inside, it got very HOT in NY. There are miles and miles of small brick homes in St Louis and i’m glad to say that I haven’t heard of any heat-related deaths this summer. Often, elderly people live in those homes and do not use airconditioning.
