I think the old Tip Top comic book had Fritzi in it.

Since we’re comparing notes about classic comic books…..I have a trivia question for all- and only those who are hard-core Dell comic readers are likely to know it:

We all know who Donald Duck’s nephews are, right? But do you know the rest?…Daisy Duck’s nieces?…Mickey Mouse’s nephews?…and for the grand prize, who can name Minnie Mouse’s nieces?

Mickey’s nephews were Morty and Ferdie when I was a kid. Did Ferdie become Marty? It sounds better.

We used to trade comic books when I was a kid. One guy down the road who was a couple of eggs short of a full nest couldn’t read, but he said he enjoyed the pictures.

Comic books were generally twice the price of a coke, now closer to 3x, I only buy collected editions

Comic books went bad when they started rebooting everyone and made them graphic novels. How many times do they need to retell the Peter Parker got bit by a radioactive spider story? We all know it fer gosh sakes.

Really glad Nancy and Sluggo are into comics, looks like they love the classics.

I wish DC or Marvel would run old classic comics in their aps. I’d love to reread all the old Brave and Bold or SGT Furies Howling Commandos. Even better, to reprint them even. I’m sure that there’d be a market. As long as it was on proper, old style paper.

How many movies, TV shows do we need with the origins of Superman? Boring.

    I like Sluggo’s comment. That’s how a kid thinks.
