Roger: The charcoal's ready. Where are the hamburgers? Andy: I forgot we're out. Roger: What about chicken or hot dogs? Andy: We're out of those, too. Roger: Andy, I almost blew myself up lighting that stupid grill! No way am I not barbecuing something for dinner! Jason: Um, Dad? Roger: Just eat your spaghetti and be quiet.

Good grief. How far is the closest grocery store? They do live in suburbia, so there HAs to be a Wal*Mart within 15 minutes (as averaged by my neighborhood’s infestation, I mean, number of stores and their distance).

Maybe it was deliberate. Who likes burnt anything? Might make tofu taste real good. No way.

You can boil water on a grill. You can do about anything with the right frame of mind. BFs dad was a horrid cook but give him a grill and YUM.

You can boil water to cook spaghetti on a barbecue. I know, I’ve done it before. It sure beats the combined bill of the stove and the A/C working against each other, and it widens the repertoire of barbecued foods. Smoking tofu actually makes it taste close enough to bacon for me, the texture is a turn-off though.
