One of my rescue kitties let me know that she wanted me to adopt her by head-butting the window at the Humane Society. :-)

Good thing you didn’t teach Rover to head butt like a goat, Red.

Head butts are one thing, but my cat Mosby likes to jump on my shoulders and go for a ride…purring like crazy all the while!

We had a cat who liked to back up to you and jab you with the heel joint of his hind leg.

My female cat Cupcake is always head-butting myself and my family in the legs. And it hurts when she head-butts you because she comes running when doing that.

Cats “head-butt” all the time. The technical term is “scent marking”. My Hoover head-butts everything: me, everything on my desk, everything in the kitchen; he particularly likes to head-butt things that end up on the floor. But, he’s still my best bud.

Our St. Bernard like to head-butt. Almost knocked me out every time.
