    My brother and I would sometimes spend hours carefully uncovering the entire back of the screen, line by line, just to examine the mechanism inside. That was one way to waste time before we had the internet.

    Many years ago I told my friend that if he gave me a quarter I would show him the secret way to make a etch-a-sketch skip.He gave me a quarter and I pretended to fiddle with the knobs..he tried it and said he couldn’t do it..That was ok with me..I had his quarter and could run faster then him..
