Nicely omitted the fact that Congress wouldn’t let him close Gitmo.

Here’s a hint. First, when you start a sentence with, “You line,” you have lost your right to be heard.Second, no campaign promises are ever acted on completely. They are and always have been an intention, a direction the candidate wants to go. And that part has been absolutely true. Of course, closing Gitmo has been blocked at every stage by conservatives.

Omitted that Congress wouldn’t let the prisoners go to prisons in the US.

BILLIONS were spent to develop a prison camp that was totally unnecessary, just like TRILLIONS were spent on TWO wars that were also totally unnecessary, by the “great decider”, and his idiot pack of supporters. Now, today, those same idiot supporters are trying to lay blame for any error on his successor, who’s hands have been tied by filibuster or vote run by those same idiot “friends of Bush”.

And isn’t it interesting that righties on the one moment demand Obama be the “unitary President”, and in the same breath call him “dictator” if he makes any effort to lead and get Boehner, McConnell, and the boneheads off the dime.

“Right wing logic”, is both amazing, and an oxymoron.

Can’t close it without funding, which RWNJ’s in the House are blocking.

has repeatedly claimed “When Illinois offered to take the prisoners, they said they didn’t want to go. They liked the Geneva Convention conditions at Gitmo.”

I’m interested in this story, can you provide a link to an article reporting this.(hey, there’s no question mark!)

asked “So, anyway, how is it all the Republicans’ fault that Gitmo hasn’t closed?”

I have never said anything of the sort, for the simple reason I’m not American and don’t give a damn who is a Republican or a Democrat; you’re all American to me. Why on earth would I be partisan in your politics? All Americans’ fault Gitmo hasn’t closed.

…also complained that “Jeeze, it took me 5 copy-and-pastes to get that posted without lines through it”

Good, you should work as hard with every post. Now go back on to Asay’s thread with your chat with Lynne and back up your statements every time. She’s the gold standard here for factual, evidenced and well researched posts.
