Just when you thought it was safe to read comic strips with old (VERY OLD!) cultural references……..I wonder how many people have actually ever watched a Shirley Temple movie? I know I never have and never would.
They were a staple of late night and Sunday morning local TV here at least through the 1980’s.
If you’ve never watched even one, how can you reject them all?
Some are silly, some are overacted … how much subtlety can you expect from a 4-year-old? … but most, till she reached her teens, are timeless and delightful.

Missing the fact that a shark replaces its teeth all through its lifetime, so it won´t matter that a few teeth are gone by the time it reaches them :p
