He probably isn’t going to get much out of Rosa.

The concern here is what Rosa is going to get out of him… I start to project myself into this strip, these situations. Perhaps this is Greg’s genius. He sure does generate lots of comments.

If my fears are in any way similar to Gunther’s. All is would take is a verbal and very clear green light from Rosa. If I wasn’t interested in her I wouldn’t continue to let her reach out. My fear of overstepping boundaries with women remains irrational and is backwards to the cultural norm.

Yeah, Lu, Rosa, somebody… maybe he just needs the right girl (for teaching purposes) to help him to just be natural and the rest will follow…

IRL Rosa wouldn’t be able to coax Gunther to dance more than one dance.-In this story line, I see her subtly easing Gunther out of his insecurity.-Today’s episode of “The Prom” is brought to you by Haulmark . . . when you care enough to send the very mess. And by FTD Teleflora . . . wire flowers anywhere – except there.

Actually, I like spending time with the other characters. Yes, it is named “Luann”, but the supporting characters help define her character. Sometimes in reading a story, I want to know more about the secondary characters more than the primary.

Knute! Dude! If Gunther wants to record notes from your advice, that’s his business! And it’s his recorder! Chill, man!

Did anyone think that Gunther’s mom was hot?

Perhaps this is why it’s best he didn’t get dancing lessons from Rosa.

Let’s hope Rosa wears gloves.

You Know, the GOOD Guys in THIS Strip Really NEED to Look Up these so-called “Helpers” (Like Old Smiley and Knute here) on Angie’s List First BEFORE taking Their Advice.

I Mean since WHEN has KNUTE been an “Expert” Romance??

Hell, the last couple of times We’ve seen Him with Crystal, He’s been a BIGGER Klutz than Gunther’s EVER Been.

That’s what I thought, too.. I mean, Gunth IS the ultimate proof of that!

.. a desperate drowning man will grab at anything, even the point of a sword …^That’s a sharp observation!

Maybe he should dump Rosa and the two guys could go together.

Probably has to do with the four panels today… no offense to Knute and Gunth, but not much going on there…. like watching two pigeons fight over popcorn… heh heh…

IMHO, Knute got “Lucky” to a degree.I Mean let’s FACE it: Knute’s a GOOF-Off, Pure and Simple. BUT, Crystal LIKES Him for some strange reason, so He’s got an advantage Right Outta the Box.

But does THAT make Him a “Love Expert”?

Ah, Good Point. What this Strip Needs is a Positive Older Male Role Model. Or Have Frank Cowboy Up and step to the plate.

This Strip could also use some NEW female Characters. That is, some SERIOUS Competition to Shake Luann OUT of Her “Comfort Zone”.

Just a Thought……,

all he has to do is have Luann arrive to give Gunher the dance lessons. That would do the trick.

Luann give G a dancing lesson! Gunther could learn a lot. However it might disturb his focus on Rosa.

People here routinely bash him, but Knute isn’t giving Gunther bad advice. The last thing Gunther needs is to have Luann show up…she likes him in a fallback sort of way, but it’s been Rosa who’s been bringing him out of his shell. Why screw that up?

You really need to change your screen name. The purpose of the Book of Leviticus was to provide instructions to guide people in atoning for sin and becoming more of a moral and holy people. Maybe you could call yourself ‘Song of Solomon.’

The posters who keep commenting on how it’s up to Gunther whether he wants to use a recorder or not have missed the subtle humor of today’s strip. Here is Knute, telling Gunther that slow dancing is about being intimate, and that Gunth needs to be ‘in the moment’ and ‘look into her eyes’, and Gunther is busy with a machine. Much like many of the kids are so into texting each other that they do that even when sitting in the same room with each other. Good job, whoever drew this…

Test of Friendship, G-man:1) Give it to Knute, lose the instructions, and be a friend in return.2) Keep the recorder, talk to TJ, and use the recording out of context in the future for personal profit (but lose a friend)

Oh, yes, you can also try getting some dancing lessons on YouTube. That’s how I learned to eat with chopsticks.

Donny, good point! I really miss MikeyJ and his art work. (And am I helping drive up the day’s comment count now with having posted three?)

We shall see if Gunth is light of heart..or..light in the loafers

Oh now I wish he would have been interested in Crystal, just to see how Tiffany dealt with it.

While I can see Knute’s point to an extent, I think ‘initimate’ isn’t something he should be asking Gunther to do with himself. Save it all for Rosa!
