Flip the switch, I see a song on the horizon.

Beardo’s a smoker? I thought he was more intelligent than that. No wonder he has no money.

This strip used to be funny. What happened?

Looks like a cigar. I know a lot of guys who don’t smoke but have the occasional cigar/pipe. I’m one of them.

I love the use of light tied to finding a gem in an idea that was almost discarded, That idea’s still a little rough, but you just know it will shine.

He’s lighting up.

Dearest Fingerwaggers: last I checked, smoking, while distasteful and unhealthy, is still legal. So shaddap.

Bit of a time warp here; snow on the ground and what looks like Christmas lights on the house in panel 3.But still very moody; nicely done.

also @ Dan DoughertyJust a thought, but I doubt too many readers would be turned off by the thought that Beardo might be smoking a blunt instead of just a regular cigar. He’s an artist and a musician, and weed is no stranger to art (and vice versa).And if he’s in Colorado or Washington (and your artwork suggests it could be either place) he wouldn’t even be breaking the law anymore.
