Locally, we have two groups, one JBS, the other calling themselves “sovereign” that are just as nuts, and spreading hate, and total ignorance of what the Constitution really says, as they make their points just barely shy of overt violence.
The constant flow of hate, and total distortion of anything President Obama, or any “liberal”, might say is reflected daily in “certain blog areas” we may be familiar with.
Merely recognizing that so many “whacko” groups are running around, this country, and the world, in the name of “religion”, or in “defense” of most any “ethnic identity”, is the “human condition”.
The “dehumanizing” of enemies in Edgar Rice Burroughs’ “Martian Chronicles”, is no less pronounced than the rationalizations of ALL radical groups here on our little blue marble. Interesting, that even those wanting to keep that marble from turning into another Mars, or Venus, are likewise attacked and derided by those whose ignorance allows them the freedom of “belief” sent out to their little tiny minds over our airwaves, on a regular basis. Interesting that those Martian tales include flying machines, but not radios. Just think how much more violent our modern electronic communication could have made the “Warlords of Mars”.
